Beeswax, lanolin and a light oil, neutral so it does not change the colour of anything. This is what we use in the workshop and it is all any vegetable-tanned piece needs twice a year. It is not a cleaner and it is not a waterproofer, and anything sold as all three is not much good at any of them.

Ingredients
Beeswax, lanolin, neatsfoot oil, carnauba wax. No silicone and no petroleum distillate: both make leather look good briefly and then stop it breathing, which is how a conditioned bag ends up cracking.
Use
A fingertip's worth on a cloth for a whole wallet, a walnut-sized amount for a bag. Work it in, leave twenty minutes, buff with a brush. More is not better — over-conditioned leather goes limp and never recovers.
