Materials
3mm vegetable-tanned cowhide, burnished edges, backed with 2mm wool felt. Cut from a full hide, which is why the larger size costs disproportionately more — few hides are big enough to yield it cleanly.
Care
Balm twice a year. Ink will stain permanently and so will oil; both become part of it. If that bothers you, this is the wrong desk pad.
